    We’re delighted that you’re choosing to book a mindful making workshop or retreat day with Create and Flo. These experiences are designed to be inspiring and restorative, and we can’t wait to welcome you.

    How to book

    To book a workshop simply click the “Book Now” button below and let me know the date and workshop you'd like to join. You'll recive a booking form and payment details. Payment is required to confirm the booking, and then you'll recieve joining instructions, which will include directions and FQAs.

    Set out below are our Terms & Conditions, which apply to all in-person workshops and retreat days. By booking and attending, you agree to the terms outlined here. If anything feels unclear, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

    Booking & payment

    Your place is confirmed once full payment has been received and a completed booking form returned. Spaces are limited to keep the experience spacious, calm and supportive.

    What’s included

    • All mindful making activities, including gentle meditation, creative exercises, and art or craft-based practices such as slow sewing
    • Use of materials and tools needed for the day (unless stated otherwise)
    • Tea, herbal teas and coffee throughout the day
    • Homemade cake served later in the session

    Please let me know of any dietary requirements in advance. Cakes are made in our home kitchen and cannot be guaranteed free from allergens or cross-contamination. If you have specific needs, you may prefer to bring your own refreshments.

    What’s not included

    Lunch is not provided. Please bring a packed lunch that suits your needs.

    Cancellations, changes & refunds

    I understand that plans can change — please contact me as soon as possible. If you need to cancel:

    • More than 2 weeks before the retreat date:
      You may transfer your place to another available date or receive a 50% refund.
    • Within 2 weeks of the retreat date:
      Refunds are not available at this stage, as preparation and costs are already in place.
    • If you are travelling or booking accommodation, I recommend taking out cancellation insurance.

    If I need to cancel:
    In the unlikely event that I need to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered either:

    • a transfer to a future date, or
    • a full refund if the new date isn’t suitable.

    Location & arrival

    Workshop sessions take place in my home studio in North Yorkshire, or when specified in nature based settings . Full details will be shared after booking. You’re welcome to arrive up to 20 minutes before the start time to settle. Sessions begin promptly at the advertised time.

    Clothing & comfort

    Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for sitting, gentle movement and making. Aprons are provided where appropriate.

    Mindful space & wellbeing

    These workshops are designed to support rest, reflection and creativity. They are not a substitute for medical or therapeutic care.

    You’re encouraged to take responsibility for your own wellbeing and to participate only in ways that feel right for you. You’re always welcome to pause, step outside or opt out of any activity.

    If you have any medical, physical or mental health considerations that may affect your participation, please contact me in advance to discuss suitability.

    Age suitability

    Retreats are intended for adults aged 18 and over. Some activities may involve needles, scissors or other tools that require care.

    Photography & creative content

    I may take photographs or short videos during retreats for promotional purposes. Please let me know in advance if you’d prefer not to be included.

    Workshop content, guided practices and written materials remain the intellectual property of the organiser and may not be reproduced or used commercially without permission. Please ask before photographing the space or other participants.

    Respect for the space

    Retreats take place in a workshop at my home, so I ask that the space, tools and materials are treated with care and respect. Any intentional damage may result in repair or replacement costs.

    Conduct & safety

    This is a calm, respectful environment. Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the retreat without a refund. Participants are expected to follow all health and safety guidance. Personal belongings are brought at your own risk.
