Sew Nature
Your invitation to a Private View
of an exhibition of stitched works based in nature
by Amanda Danells-Bewley

What / When
Join me on Saturday 18th July 2-5pm my first ever art exhibition!
Sew Nature is a summer exhibition rooted in my personal response to my garden, the flora and fauna and the wider natural landscapes. Centred on stitched and textile-based work, the exhibition brings together recent pieces alongside selected works made over the years, reflecting recurring theme of my love of nature and outdoor living.
The work sits alongside my current MA studies in Creative Practice. Alongside the stitched work, Sew Nature reflects my ongoing interest in low-impact, nature-based creative sessions that combine making with grounding and contemplative practices.
I hope you will join us for drinks and nibbles during the afternoon, and feel free to enjoy relaxing in our garden.

Where
The exhibition will be in our garden cabin at Bramley Cottage, The Green, Barton, North Yorkshire. DL10 6JT. We are just 3 minutes from junction 56 of the A1M.
When you arrive on the Green you'll see our little cream coloured cottage, with a large black gate to the left. Go through the gate to access the garden and into the cabin. There will lots of signs to follow too!
On street parking is available.

Can't make the date?
If you can't make the Saturday there is a general, public viewing 10am-4pm on Sunday 19th July, to which you are, of course, very welcome.
